Watch My Baby Grow

Learn about the week-by-week changes in your body as the baby grows and develops. Other helpful information includes common symptoms, thoughts to consider, and tips for a healthy pregnancy.

First Trimester

Your first trimester of pregnancy is from the first day of your last period until the last day of the 12th week. It is a time marked by development of your baby from a group of intricate cells to a tiny human being.

You may have feelings of joy and anticipation but also physical symptoms of breast tenderness, nausea, fatigue, bloating, and urinary frequency. You may want to load the StorkAdvisor app so that you can receive daily tips during your pregnancy, helpful articles to read or product reviews. You might also enjoy reading some of the StorkMama stories about real life as a new mom.

Second Trimester

The second trimester is filled with lots of excitement and changes for mom and baby. For most women the first trimester symptoms of fatigue, nausea, breast tenderness and urinary frequency have resolved or at least improved.

It is the time in which you will have your morphology / anatomy scan to take a detailed look at your baby. You will know your baby’s gender by this trimester if not sooner, you will start to show and feel your baby move! There is no turning back now, this is really happening!

Third Trimester

This is the most exciting time of the pregnancy because at the end of this trimester, you will hold your baby! If you haven’t already entered your family and friends into “My Story” on StorkAdvisor you will want to do so now in order to keep them updated on your progress and notify them when you go into labor.

You will feel the most significant changes during this trimester as your baby gets bigger, lung and brain development finishes, and you prepare for labor. It will also be a time to make some of your first parenting decisions and plan for bringing your baby home.
