Yeatts II M.D. is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with over 30 years of experience in women’s health, having delivered over 4,500 babies and provided care for thousands of women with both routine and high-risk pregnancies. As the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Stork Advisor, Dr. Yeatts brings his extensive medical expertise to a platform dedicated to providing accurate, empathetic, and life-changing educational content for women before, during, and after pregnancy.

Dr. Yeatts graduated with honors in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech, earned his Master’s in Clinical Chemistry from Old Dominion University, and completed his M.D. at Eastern Virginia Medical School. His commitment to women’s health was solidified through his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Riverside Regional Medical Center, where he later served as Chief Resident and completed a prestigious mini-fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Yeatts is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists since 1989 and has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1991. He has cared for patients in both routine and high-risk pregnancies. His work spans a wide range of gynecological care, including the management of conditions like PCOS, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and cervical dysplasia. He is experienced in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and has performed countless procedures using robotic-assisted surgery since 2006.

Professional and Academic Leadership

Dr. Yeatts has held numerous leadership positions at Riverside Regional Medical Center, including President of the Medical Staff, Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Chair of the Maternal Child Quality Performance Committee. In addition to his clinical and leadership roles, he has served as a teaching attending for over 30 years, mentoring the next generation of physicians in obstetrics and gynecology.
